So... so pretty!

When are you going?

The distributor of the print version of the play doesn't get them in until November 1. Aieeeeeee!

Oh! I'm glad you found out about the publication. Everywhere I looked it said "no", and I gave up. But November 1 is only a few days away! We must be strong!

I'm going not this weekend but next. So excited! It had better be good. *intimidating glare*

We must be strong!

No, no, I am weak! I am like a three year old I want it NOW!

WE MUST BE STRONG! No Off-Off Broadway Ned!Fic until we eat our Halloween candy!

It's only a bag of candy corn, three Reese's, and a Butterfinger away!

*tries to contain self*

If I had the equipment and the knowhow, I'd film the thing for y'all, and damn the consequences.

If I had the equipment and the knowhow

Nevertheless, I admire your willingness to break the rules! Ned would approve!

Oh man, I want to see this so much... alas, no money even if I had the time to get to New York. Thank you for posting the pretty, though!
Lardvark: Lawrence sherifcionaudha on October 17th, 2007 01:30 pm (UTC)
Mmm, I agree! I have no antibodies for redheaded men: they overwhelm my defenses. *adds to ginger harem*

I'm sorry you can't get to see it: I felt the same when it was in Ottawa last year. That's the magic and frustration of theater right there, isn't it. It exists purely in the moment.

One of the many many charms of Boston is that it's just a day trip to NYC. :-)

I totally approve of those boys.
Lardvark: sorry Lawrencecionaudha on October 17th, 2007 01:34 pm (UTC)
You've read the thing: what's he doing with Nicholson?
Janettepotatofiend on October 17th, 2007 02:38 pm (UTC)
Ohgod, they have a Moment at the end of the play. She wants him to Let Her Touch Him.

It's retarded.
Lardvark: Lawrence sherifcionaudha on October 17th, 2007 02:55 pm (UTC)
Oh, the Morbid Horror!

He should be having that Moment with Robert, if anyone.

(Though I've always claimed that the most sexually subversive Lawrence fic would be het...)
Janettepotatofiend on October 17th, 2007 03:14 pm (UTC)
Dude, there's certainly a point to be made in that! Lawrence/Janet Laurie, anyone?
Lardvark: dreamer Lawrencecionaudha on October 17th, 2007 03:24 pm (UTC)
Or Winifred Fontana. :-) He called her "a special person, with the gift of feeling", and she was clearly smitten with him in those heady days at Carchemish. His letters home mentioned her frequently-- Mrs Fontana this, Mrs Fontana that. Her contribution to TE Lawrence by his Friends was yoinked after the first edition: a little too frankly loving for her husband's taste, perhaps. :-D

Someone could surely work up something there. FORBIDDEN LOVE OMG.

I have this irritating problem where I think that any Lawrence who isn't Ralph Fiennes is wrong, wrong, wrong. Except for, you know, TEL himself. I would LIKE to believe other ones, really I would.

Also, this guy appears to be a redhead. ???
Lardvark: redheads Holmescionaudha on October 17th, 2007 01:41 pm (UTC)
I suffer the same problem, which I think isn't really a problem, per se... ;-) It's Fiennes I see when I read fic: he just totally owns that role.

He's blond according to other pictures I've seen: the lighting probably brings the red out of his blond hair if he tends to strawberry. But then Fiennes is a bit ginger too.
